Just in time for Valentine’s Day, I have discovered a locally produced fudge from a quaint sweet shop on Smithville’s square.
I’m not talking about some ordinary fudge mass produced in a factory. The handmade fudge prepared by Nellie’s Sweet Shoppe is so much better and made with real cream and butter, a trademark for exceptional fudge. Read full article.

Nellie's celebrates 10 years of sweet treats

Nellie's Sweet Shoppe will celebrate a decade in business with a day of activities starting at 11 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at 115 E. Main St.
The anniversary celebration will include food, drawings, memory sharing, a fundraiser and silent auction.
